We have to admit, it's really hard to not like Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV's Fixer Upper.
Chip is funny and talented, Joanna has a great eye for design and their relationship has a fun dynamic that translates well on TV. Their company, Magnolia, is like a fixer-upper factory, turning worn-down houses in the Waco, Texas area into perfectly clean yet distressed homes with vintage charm.

But, like every HGTV "reality" TV show, their program follows a script that's pretty easy to notice after binge-watching a few episodes. Take a look, y'all.
