The Flaming Lips Release Song Via 12 YouTube Videos

Forget about defeating those evil machines; the Flaming Lips have just released a new song that can only be heard if 12 YouTube videos are played simultaneously.

Much like the band's album Zaireeka, which came in the form of four CDs to be played at once, "Two Blobs F**king" (some extra romance for Valentine's Day) is meant to utilize multiple devices in order to come together.

The Flaming Lips are up to some insane stuff this year, including collaborating with the synth-tastic Neon Indian, and a loosely defined plan to release a song every month in 2011. Keep an eye on Mashable for more in the coming months, as we're slated to chat with frontman Wayne Coyne.

In the meantime, check out the instructional video above (NSFW: language) and let us know how your musical mass rendezvous goes down.
