Some of these features were already available in beta to iPhone users, but Flickr indicates that with today’s launch, they’ll also be accessible on devices using other mobile browsers including Opera Mini, Firefox Mobile and Webkit.
In-line with the boom we’ve seen elsewhere in mobile usage, Flickr says that their mobile site has seen a 50% increase in users since last year. With the upgrade, the site is a fairly complete mobile version of the Web experience, building on existing options for uploading photos and seeing uploads from your friends and the Flickr community at-large.
