With college tuition costs skyrocketing today’s students can find themselves in untenable situations. Flip.com, Conde Nast's teen girl social network which launched in February, is offering to foster the creativity of teenaged girls while offering a $25,000 tuition sweepstakes to registered teens with their eye on college. Any teen who registers between now and May 31, 2007 will automatically be registered to win.

The essence of this site is really the flipbook, which is essentially a photo album creatively tailored with drawing, text, soundtracks, transitions and sizing elements. Users create profiles, join clubs and create flipbooks primarily. The site also has channels to navigate between the categories of life, entertainment, style and the world.

Flip will also be giving away one laptop per week for the duration of the sweepstakes. To win one of the laptops, girls must complete one or more flipbooks. The more flipbooks created the greater each user’s chances of winning a laptop. The contest is a great opportunity for girls to create and have a chance to win some great prizes.
