Flock, the social browser. The latest Flock 1.2 release, available today, is layering in even more social tools, including Digg, Pownce, and AOL webmail. This all adds to the integrated capabilities of browser-based social utility, giving users immediate access to all the new networks. Add this on top of Flock's existing support for Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo Mail and many more social networks and communications tools, and it's clear that Flock is hoping to appeal to as many users as possible with this widening range of accessible services.

For Digg, the added Flock support enables you to submit Digg news stories, videos, and images from your browser, as well as track friends' submissions and votes. As for Pownce, Flock support is quite similar to Twitter, letting you share files to your account. However, comments can be shared for Pownce updates through Flock's browser as well. With AOL mail integration, you'll be alerted via a lit mail icon to your new messages.

As Flock adds support for more and more services, is there a potential for it to get too crowded? That would generally depend on the user, and the number of services they'd like to add on for their own personalized experience.
