Two University of Florida students were just trying to have a picnic lunch when they were joined by an unwelcome guest.
Michael Tamayo and his friend were sitting around when an alligator popped out of Lake Alice, a small lake on the university's Gainesville campus, and strolled over. It clearly had one thing on its mind: lunch. (Luckily, the only casualty was a sandwich.)

Tamayo told NBC that such an alligator sighting wasn't exactly unusual. "It's Florida so most people are used to seeing them come out ... especially in Gainesville."
