Fluid Entertainment Gets $3.2 M for Kids' Social Games

The money is set to fund continued development on a massively multiplayer online game that CEO Greg Jones says is nearing a test launch.

Fluid's current portfolio of projects seems to mostly entail licensed or commissioned work for brands like Pokemon, Disney, and Dungeons and Dragons. They were originally funded to make games for publishers like Electronic Arts by Scott Matthews, but he said they decided to go their own way and make Internet-based games with the help of web market pro Jen Chapin.
