It hasn't been long since the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens ignited fan feels with everything from a melted Darth Vader mask to shots of R2D2. Now Disney has released the first character-based posters, including Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher).

The posters shows Solo brandishing his signature blaster pistol, and the others with lightsabers -- except for Leia, who's caged in light from what appears to be a console or other new technology in the Star Wars universe. There's no word on if the filmmakers will release more posters, but those could provide a closer look at new characters or even a hint about where we can find Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).

For now, however, the Force awaits.
