A couple of months ago it was all going so well for Ed. Number 10 was almost in reach, Milifandom was sweeping the Internet and Russell Brand shook himself out of political apathy to invite the Labour leader on his Trews show.
Then Miliband lost the election.
While Miliband has been licking his wounds in Ibiza, one YouTuber has created a vision of his defeat - and his break-up with Brand - using the prism of Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Huw Parkinson's video, which sees Ed's face hovering over Jason Segal's character as he mopes around Hawaii, is pretty funny as these things go.
"You've got move on," the barman tells Ed at one point. "Who cares?" he replies. "Who does?"
