YouTube has partnered with the creators of Four Eyed Monsters to present the first full length film on YouTube.
The film was created by Arin Crumley and Susan Buice and chronicles the cultivation of their relationship as artists, communicating only through visuals such as drawings, vlogs, and scribbled notes. This is what became their first feature film, Four Eyed Monsters. The film went on to be accepted to festivals and receive awards and great reviews from critics. When Crumley and Buice created podcasts about the making of the film and their struggle to get it released, they harnessed the power of self-distribution on the Internet and gained over 1 million views, building a very loyal, online audience.
