A denim-clad Rihanna wipes away tears while a sweaty Kanye West flails and a chill Paul McCartney strums his guitar in the subdued music video for their powerhouse "FourFiveSeconds" collaboration.

Released on Tuesday, the black-and-white video for the unplugged pop song subtly puts the focus more on the lyrics, which tell a universal story about having a reckless boozy night, waking up in confusion and praying to quickly recover from everything.

Rihanna also announced that she and the guys will perform the song, off of her forthcoming eighth studio album, for the first time at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Backed only by an acoustic guitar and organ with tinges of cello, the trio stays in front of a white backdrop for the entirety of the video, with each superstar getting solo time to shine in emotional closeups. And the square composition makes every shot easy to Instagram.

Rihanna had teased the video's release Monday in two Instagram clips:

"FourFiveSeconds" comes just weeks after West and McCartney released "Only One," which has lyrics written from the perspective of West's mother Donda West, who died of complications from cosmetic surgery in 2007.

Rihanna hasn't released an album since 2012's Unapologetic, so this first single from her next album is causing quite the excitement.
