Existing users will be pleased to find that Foursquare has streamlined the check-in process. Instead of having to click through the "Friends" or "Places" sections to check in, a check-in option has been moved to the main navigation bar. The check-in interface has also been cleaned up a bit.
Foursquare has also improved its "Explore tab," enabling users to navigate between nearby locations that are recommended as well as trending. Users can also now surface locations offering specials (right):
