New Foursquare for Android Brings Better Facebook, Twitter Integration

A new version of Foursquare for Android is out, bringing a refreshed check-in UI, an easier way to mention friends in your updates and faster update sharing on Facebook and Twitter.

Amazon's Lovefilm Arrives on Kindle Fire

Amazon-owned European film subscription service Lovefilm is now available on the Kindle Fire and the Kindle Fire HD.

The service allows for instant streaming of "thousands" of movies and TV shows. Features include the watch list, Whispersync support and X-Ray for Movies, a new feature which enables viewers to easily check on the movie's details on IMDB.

The movies on offer include Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Karate Kid and Gnomeo and Juliet.

Samsung Galaxy Note II Now Available for Pre-Order From Verizon and AT&T

Both AT&T and Verizon have put up the Samsung Galaxy Note II for pre-order, with a $299.99 price tag on a two-year contract.

There's a difference in actual availability, however, as AT&T customers can expect the device to ship Nov. 6, while Verizon promises it to ship by Nov. 27.
