Police arrested Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett on Wednesday after an incident at a Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport bar.

Officers said Jarrett appeared intoxicated and refused to comply with their orders, according to a report from the Associated Press.

Jarrett, who was co-anchor of "America's News HQ" on Fox News Channel, previously worked as an anchor and correspondent for MSNBC. He recently requested to take some time off for personal reasons, which Fox granted.

Jarrett has been charged with obstructing the legal process by interfering with a peace officer by the Hennepin County Sheriff. He was released after posting a $300 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 6.

A Fox News spokesperson said in a statement to Mashable: "We were made aware late last night that Gregg Jarrett was arrested in Minneapolis yesterday and charged with a misdemeanor. He is dealing with serious personal issues at this time. A date at which Gregg might return to air has yet to be determined."

Jarrett's mug shot that was taken after his arrest hit social media.
