On Friday we heard reports coming from New York advocacy group China Labor Watch that Foxconn workers in China were on strike. Reported reasons were varied, from Apple asking people to work on holidays to alleged enforcement of tighter quality control. Now, the company is denying all strike-related reports.

Foxconn said production is on schedule, writes Reuters. The Taiwanese company’s statement included the following: “Any reports that there has been an employee strike are inaccurate. [...] There has been no workplace stoppage in that facility or any other Foxconn facility and production has continued on schedule”.

Furthermore, Foxconn claims those workers who decided on their own to work on the National Holiday were paid three times their normal compensation, as per the requirements of the law.
