Free (probably safe) food alert.

After a string of tumultuous health issues, Chipotle closed its doors Monday during lunch in order to hold a company wide meeting on food safety. But, in fear of losing unhappy or scared customers, Chipotle is offering free burritos to the hungry and lunch-less masses.

Just text "Raincheck” to 888-222 before 6 p.m. on Monday and Chipotle will text back a coupon for your free food. The caveat? The offer is on a first-text-first-serve basis, according to the fine print, so you may end up receiving a text back that says "no longer available."

So, you may end up hungry after all, but at least Chipotle will know they can count on you to come running at the sign of free anything.
