Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company knows this, and has created a brilliant (albeit probably financially reckless) marketing campaign targeting bloggers. They are inviting up to 10,000 of us to “beta test” their latest flavored coffee: “Jamaican Me Crazy.” By “beta test,” they mean send you free coffee in the mail, which, sounds like a good deal to us.
Additionally, they are throwing everyone that signs up some linkage from their site, where you can see 100 or so bloggers have already signed up. Smart marketing strategy: give thousands of caffeine fueled, link hungry individuals free coffee and traffic, and hope they'll return the favor with a review.
