Freed circus lion is overjoyed at feeling grass for the first time

One lucky lion got a second chance at life.

Will the lion was forced to perform in a traveling circus until the age of 13. The only home he ever knew was a cramped cage without any sort of nature for him to roam and do normal lion things.

Will got a second chance at life when Brazilian animal sanctuary Rancho dos Gnomos rescued him. He immediately started pawing the earth and grass after stepping into his enclosure, something he'd never been able to do his entire life.
