25 years later, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song is as enduring as ever.
The show, which debuted on Sept. 10, 1990, is as famous for its timeless humor and flair as it is for its iconic opening tune, rapped by star Will Smith. The song is so ubiquitous that you could probably jump into a crowd, shout out "Now this is a story all about how-" and immediately see someone else finish up the rest.
Celebrities, too, aren't immune to its charms. From the boys of One Direction to sports star Mo'Ne Davis (who wasn't even born when the show aired), here are 15 celebrities sittin' on their thrones, as the prince of Bel Air.

Tatyana Ali, a.k.a. Ashley Banks, could never forget these lyrics.
10. Jimmy Fallon, again (but this time it's a late night remix)
So maybe we underestimated how much Fallon loves the Fresh Prince. Here he is recreating the entire song and title sequence.
11. Ed Sheeran
Fast forward to 1:11 to hear the Brit blend the theme song into a live performance of the song "You Need Me."
12. Mo'ne Davis
The young baseball star serves up a snippet of the famous theme in this quick interview.

Despite claims that he doesn't really remember the song, Ribeiro raps part of it perfectly 1:22 minutes into this interview.
14. Will Smith
Of course, this list wouldn't be complete with the Fresh Prince himself performing the song, like he did this past February on The Ellen Show.
15. Alfonso Ribeiro, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will and Jaden Smith
This is all we've ever wanted. Will, Jaden, Alfonso and DJ Jazzy Jeff, all in one place. Not only did they perform the theme song, they treated us to Carlton's signature dance moves and Sugar Hill Gang's "Apache (Jump On It)."
