If there's one thing we learned from Coach Eric Taylor, it's that if you work hard and believe, dreams do come true.
Like The O.C. before it, Friday Night Lights is coming to the stage. An official Twitter account for the FNL musical announced today that the show will premiere in Los Angeles in 2016, starring none other than Scott Porter -- a.k.a. Jason Street -- as Coach Taylor himself.

The musical will run for one night only, and is expected to premiere in late spring or early summer. It comes from Jordan Ross and Lindsey Rosin, the minds behind The Unauthorized O.C. Musical, which ran for one night in August 2015.
