The Friends cast is coming back to NBC. But don't get too excited: They won't be playing their old characters.

Along with casts from several other classic NBC shows, the Friends are reuniting in February for a special that will play tribute to legendary TV director James Burrows.

TVLine was the first to report the news.

Other casts set to appear on the special include those from Taxi, Cheers, Frasier and Will & Grace.

To further rain on your parade: NBC Robert Greenblatt reports that the special may not feature the entire cast in the same room. (Womp, womp.) Though, the entire cast is signed on to participate.

Back in November, Burrows, 74, marked a milestone by directing his 1,000th episode of television.

The special airs Feb. 21.
