Everyone's talking about Kim Kardashian's bleached hair today, but if she wanted to go for the ice queen look, she could have taken it a step further.

At the Takhini Hot Pools in Whitehorse, Yukon in Canada, frozen hair is all the rage.

When temperatures dip below -30 degrees Celsius, hair freezes in minutes -- you just have to resist the temptation to duck your hair into the warm water.

The Takhini Hot Springs provide incentive to channel Jack Nicholson in The Shining every February when they host a hair freezing contest. Visitors simply have to submit a photo of their icy coif for the chance to walk away with a $150 cash price.

This could be a great thing for the winter beauty routines of the laziest among us. Just hop out of the shower in the morning, don't bother with a blow dry and let the oppressive frost be your hairstylist.
