The Olsen twins won't be joining their former TV family for Netflix's Fuller House due to obligations to their growing fashion empire -- and now it turns out that the same is true of their character, Michelle.

According to US Weekly, a show insider says that Michelle Tanner's absence is explained by the fact that the character now lives in New York and is working in fashion. Netflix's Full House sequel will include an episode about but not featuring Michelle, in which Tanners repeatedly prank-call the family's youngest sister and do impressions of her old catchphrase: "You got it, dude!"

On second thought, this may be a sneak peek into life on the set...

Fuller House will follow the recently widowed DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) after Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) move in to help her raise her children. The show comes to Netflix in 2016.
