Get ready — everyone's new favorite animal is a slug.

Jorunna parva is a genus of sea slug that bears a remarkable resemblance to furry little bunnies (or Pokémon). Japanese Twitter users are totally freaking out over creature's adorableness, and after taking a look at this strange little animal, it's hard to blame them.

The unusual slug is roughly 2 cm (0.79 inches) long, and has sensory rhinophores on its head that look like little ears. So basically, Mother Nature bestowed a naturally cute and tiny puff-slug upon the world.

According to Rocket News, Japanese divers have even taken to calling the little creatures "goma-chan," which loosely translates to "cute little sesame."

Thank you, little sea bunnies, for reminding us that nature is not always scary (that is, as long as you're not living in Australia).

So yes, they are sea slugs with cute bunny ears. Nature is hella adorable when it's not doing horrifying things.— GrassLamb (@GrassLamb) July 15, 2015
