Futurama: Game of Drones may not bring the series back to TV, but at least it means the Planet Express crew lives on in some form.

The freshly-announced puzzle game from Diamond Dash developer Wooga features a story from Dave Grossman, who co-wrote the PC gaming classic The Secret of Monkey Island. He's joined by Futurama's Patric Verrone and Game of Thrones: Ascent writer Jonathon Myers.

The game casts the Planet Express crew as the underdogs in a showdown with MomCo's rival shipping concern. Players connect groups of drones in dangerous locations as they work to deliver packages.

There's not much more than an announcement, title and list of names to go on at this point, but for most of us, knowing that Futurama is coming back is good enough. The show's been off the air since being canceled (for the second time) in late 2013.

The best glimpse we have for now is some poster art, featuring Bender as he commands an army of spherical, Bender-like drones to go forth and deliver. Check it out below.
