Winter is coming, and so is Bran Stark.

Fans of HBO who aren't quite caught up on Game of Thrones yet should stop reading here. Spoilers ahead.

The young, crippled Stark was a no-show in Season 5 after the previous season ended with Bran, Jojen (R.I.P.), Hodor and Meera finally reaching the Heart Tree. It was there that Bran was greeted by a tree-hugging mystic's vague proclamation: "You will never walk again. But you will fly."

The young Stark and his traveling companions faded into the background when Season 5 turned its focus on the White Walkers in the icy north, but a newly shared Entertainment Weekly photo shows us an older Bran. The goofy Prince Charming haircut is gone and, although you can't see it (and won't on Game of Thrones), the 16-year-old actor now stands at a towering 6 feet.

We already had a strong sense that Bran was coming back for Season 6, but this is the first look we've had at actor Isaac Hempstead-Wright in character since 2014. What does the future hold for young Bran as he hangs with the Three-Eyed Raven (played by Hollywood treasure Max Von Sydow) in the bowels of the Heart Tree? We'll likely find out when the new season premieres in April 2016.
