Game of Thrones' Season 5 Blu-ray will include The Dance of Dragons, a stunningly animated story as captivating as its live-action counterpart. IGN has debuted a first look at the feature, which describes a civil war fought by factions of the Targaryen family.

That mesmerizing voice is none other than Prince Oberyn himself, Pedro Pascal -- who will be joined by other ghosts of the GoT universe, including Harry Lloyd (Viserys Targaryen), Mark Addy (Robert Baratheon), Michelle Fairley (Caitlyn Stark), Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon) and Kerry Ingram (Shireen Baratheon).

The events of the Targaryen civil war were first described by George R.R. Martin in "The Princess and the Queen," a 2013 novella set 200 years before A Song of Ice and Fire. Thrones writer Dave Hill penned the 20-minute animated feature.

"Every year, I try to keep the scripts worthy of the incredible work that I know to expect from [producer Adam Vadnais] and his team," Hill said. "This year, more so than ever, they've set the bar astronomically high with the Dance of Dragons featurette. Winter will eventually come, but not the day that Adam and his team fail to amaze me."

The feature will be available on all Game of Thrones Blu-ray editions, out March 15, 2016.
