The UK bookstore Waterstones tweeted an image Wednesday that catalogs every death in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, thus far.

Fans of the books have probably already come to terms with the brutality of Martin and his sudden killing off of fan-favorite characters. But for those of you only following the HBO show, this basically means the Red Wedding was not nearly the worst of it.
The picture has been going viral after Waterstones tweeted it, but the image was first posted to Reddit by user ma_petite_choufleur five months ago in a r/gameofthrones subreddit.
TL;DR: Don't get attached. Actually, that's an understatement. It's more like: Don't even bother to learn the characters' names.
Perhaps someone should give George a hug before he just blows Westeros up in the final two books.
