It's a tough life to be an actor or actress on Game of Thrones. Yes, you're part of a tremendously popular series. But you never know when your character will be killed off. You just know it is a heck of a lot more likely to happen -- and in a gruesome way -- than on any other TV series.
So it shouldn't be too surprising that several Game of Thrones stars and secondary characters have been quick to capitalize on the show's success by doing some marketing work.

Kit Harington, better known as the bastard Jon Snow, temporarily leaves his grungy surroundings at The Wall for a glamorous turn as the face of Jimmy Choo. Here's another spot with him looking like a stud in sunglasses -- if you're so inclined.

Everyone's favorite character Tyrion, played by actor Peter Dinklage, lends his voice to this ad for Chrysler, with the fitting tagline: "a car made for the kings and queens of America."
Wildling, you make Wyndham's heart sing
Kristofer Hivju, the Norwegian actor who plays the fierce wildling Tormund Giantsbane, is far less menacing in his brand new role as the "rewards wyzard" for Wyndham.
A Lannister always pays his debts, or at least his bar tabs
Charles Dance has had a long career in Hollywood, but his time as the patriarch of the all-powerful Lannister family on Game of Thrones has certainly helped raise his profile even more. Here he trades the castle for a post serving others behind the bar.
Back from the afterlife
Catelyn Stark and Lord Varris, played by Michelle Fairley and Conleth Hill, respectively, spoof their roles on Game of Thrones to promote their new show, Suits. All's fair in love and war and television -- especially when one has been killed off. (Sorry, it's been more than a year. It's not a spoiler anymore. It's just a fact.)
