'Game of Thrones' Slogans Give NFL Logos Fierce New Look

Like many young men, Tim Proby is a huge fan of both the NFL and Game of Thrones.

Listening to sports talk radio before a showdown between the rival San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks late last season, he came to a startling realization.

"There's all these calls coming in, and all this hate from different people," Proby told Mashable. "I was like, 'This reminds me of the Starks and the Lannisters.'"

And so an idea was born: The logos of all 32 NFL teams reimagined as Game of Thrones house sigils (that's logos for all you n00bs). Soon after, the 28-year-old mechanical engineer by trade set about the project from his Kenmore, Wash., home, posting results to Reddit as he went along. He made up new team mottos straight out of Westeros and Essos, while other Reddit users suggested additional mottos that he used as well.

After completing new wallpaper logos for the entire league, Proby posted the final results to Reddit on Wednesday, where they were met with acclaim by fellow Redditors.

Here below are several of our favorite examples, used with Proby's permission. For more info you can check out his website, Facebook, Reddit or Twitter.
