As promised, the new season of Game of Thrones has scored an April premiere date.

April 24, to be exact. Same time (9 p.m. ET), same place (HBO).

Start planning your premiere parties, secure the snacks, and prepare for your minds to be blown. Probably. WE DON'T KNOW.

The debut will be followed by the Season 3 premiere of Silicon Valley and Season 5 of Veep.

All three shows are coming out of their most acclaimed seasons yet.

Game of Thrones upset Mad Men at the most recent Emmy Awards, walking away with the award for Best Drama and breaking the record for most Emmys won by a show in a single year.

Veep, meanwhile, broke Modern Family's five-year streak by taking the prize for Best Comedy.

Other premiere dates released today: Vinyl (which counts Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter among its executive producers) will debut Feb. 14, HBO Films' Kerry Washington-led Confirmation will also debut in April, and President Lyndon B. Johnson biopic All the Way with Bryan Cranston will premiere in May.
