Live streams have captured some strange scenarios, now including unexpected police surveillance.

An armed robber was caught breaking into a Phoenix, Arizona home early Monday morning by a popular gaming stream, AZ Family reports.

One of the occupants, Nikki Elise, a.k.a Sajedene, was playing an online video game, Defense of the Ancients, while live streaming through her popular channel on Twitch.tv when someone broke into the house.

Elise's webcam broadcast the invasion, shown in the short video above, during which she disappears to investigate and is promptly told to "stay on the ground" by the robbers -- one of whom appears briefly, carrying a weapon.

Fellow gamers quickly uploaded video clips to YouTube. Despite seeing the robbery take place, the gamers had no idea where Elise lived. A friend eventually called police.

AZ Family reports that one suspect has been taken into custody after a short foot chase, while another remains on the loose.

According to a friend of the gamers, nobody was injured during the invasion, only shaken up.

I can confirm that @Sajedene & @SUNSfanTV are ok. Very shaken up but ok.
