Originally launching in 200 stores last year, the retailer offers an assortment of different tablets ranging from the Acer Iconia Tab A200 (currently $299) to the Toshiba Excite 10 (currently $499). A little different than your standard-issue Android tablet you might buy at another store, the tablets are catered specifically toward gamers and come pre-loaded with games including Sonic CD and Riptide, the Kongregate Arcade gaming app and a free issue of Game Informer Digital.

Much like all other purchases at GameStop, you can purchase one of the tablets with cash or you can trade in your old games, game consoles, or iOS devices to use toward the purchase.

If you're interested in picking up one of the tablets, you can enter your zip code or address into the Bing-powered search tool on GameStop's website to find the location nearest you where you can pick one up. They can also be purchased online, and shipped to you for free.

Adding pre-loaded content to tablets definitely adds a bit of value to them over what you might get traditionally out of the box. While GameStop hasn't released numbers on how many people are buying the pre-loaded tablets, expanding the program also seems to suggest that the program is doing well, and that customers are interested in buying them.
