Presidential candidates don't always go crowdsurfing. But when they do, it's pretty epic.

Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party candidate for President of the United States, isn't nearly as well-known as President Barack Obama or his challenger, Mitt Romney.

Despite being on the ballot in all 50 states and a change.org petition in his name, Johnson is not even participating in tonight's debate.

So, to be seen and heard, Johnson has to take an occasional leap of faith.

Into a crowd.
