LONDON -- With the general election upon us (and Mashable running live coverage all day and night), the papers are trying one last time to influence the vote.

There are no surprises and fewer of the personal attacks than on Wednesday, which saw the Sun's attack on Ed Miliband mercilessly mocked on Twitter.

Nevertheless, most of them emphatically endorsed their pet party one last time. The Telegraph even emailed its readers.

I just received an email from editor of the Daily Telegraph urging me to vote conservative. Whatever happened to a free & impartial press?— Alexia Inge (@AlexiaInge) May 7, 2015
