'The greatest British producer of all time': Celebrities pay tribute to George Martin

LONDON -- Tributes have been pouring in for George Martin, the man dubbed the "Fifth Beatle," after his death was announced by Ringo Starr on Wednesday morning.

From producer Mark Ronson to Prime Minister David Cameron, the tributes flowed on Twitter, as figures from the music industry and beyond acknowledged the huge contribution Martin made during his long career.

The Recording Academy described him as "one of the most innovative producers of all time," adding that his impact on music is "unparalleled."
