The author stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday to talk about the upcoming season of the show and was quizzed on A Song of Ice and Fire trivia by Meyers and Amy Poehler.
As it turns out, Ygritte didn't say, "You know nothing, Jon Snow." That was the Winterfell math tutor, Mrs. Puddlefinch. Read the books, people.
Martin also offered a few of thoughts on how he would improve the design of HBO's Iron Throne. As Meyers notes in the interview, Martin's is "a lot more kickass."
