George R.R. Martin, notorious killer of fictional characters, is attending Super Bowl XLIX in Phoenix, Arizona.

The A Song of Ice and Fire author posted an update to his official LiveJournal, "Not a Blog," in which he revealed his outcome of choice: anyone but the Patriots.

"Go Seahawks!! Deflate the Pats!" he wrote. Martin is a lifelong fan of the Jets and the Giants, so his disdain for the team that Brady built is understandable.

Martin apparently briefly hung out with actor and Patriots fan Michael Chiklis as well.

Still, we have to hope that a Patriots victory doesn't force Martin to do anything drastic, like kill more Starks.
