Gerard Parkes, an actor best known for playing the beloved Doc on Fraggle Rock, died Sunday, according to reports. He was 90 years old.
Parkes died of natural causes, according to The Canadian Press news, which confirmed the news with his agent.

On the show Fraggle Rock, which ran from 1983-87, Doc, an inventor, was the sole human character and often seen working in his workshop alongside his dog, Sprocket.
In addition to his role in the Jim Henson production, Parkes appeared on many Canadian shows and in the 1999 film The Boondock Saints alongside Willem Dafoe. His character in the film, coincidentally, was also named Doc. He reprised the role for 2009's The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, which was his last known credit.
