After beating Argentina 1-0 in the final World Cup match on Sunday, Germany returned home with the coveted gold trophy in hand.
And from the second the team's plane touched down, it has been one massive party.
The plane landed at Berlin's Tegel Airport on Tuesday after flying low over the "fan mile" in front of the landmark Brandenburg Gate.

Holding the trophy high in the air, team captain Philipp Lahm led the team off the plane as a crowd of fans on the airport's viewing terrace cheered and sang a chorus of "Football's Coming Home."
Forget the limo. The team then left the airport and headed to downtown Berlin in an open-top bus emblazoned with the years of Germany's World Cup victories: 1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014.

During the victory parade, Germany's coach Joachim Loew told hundreds of thousands of fans in Berlin celebrating his team's World Cup victory that they shared the title with his players.
The "fan mile" began filling up the hours before the team's plane touched down at the airport, with some waiting overnight to get a place at the front.
