Disclosure notice: The author of this article backed the Kickstarter for Ghostbusters: The Board Game.

Cryptozoic Entertainment's huge Kickstarter success with Ghostbusters: The Board Game is nearly ready to be unleashed, and one of the first copies to reach U.S. shores is at 2015's New York Comic Con. Not even Kickstarter backers have the game in hand yet, so Comic Con attendees are getting what amounts to a first look.

We stopped by Cryptozoic's booth with camera in hand to take a lookat the game's fully finished army of molded plastic miniatures. Everything seems to be well made, too. There's a nice amount of heft to larger figures, like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, and the game board's shifting tiles are all printed on extra-thick card stock.

Cryptozoic is at the show all weekend, so swing by booth #226 if you're at NYCC and want to check the game out firsthand. For everyone else, enjoy these photos from the show floor.
