Many of us suffer from infographic fatigue, tired of seeing yet another piece of design content that could have just as easily been summarized in a simple list, hitting the web every hour.
But, at least for sports, animation technology gives the infographic new life and a wealth of additional possibilities. For example, this GIF infographic from Lumen Interactive looks like it's straight out of the pages of Harry Potter's The Daily Prophet, and shows what goes into building the perfect golf swing.
It's not the first GIF infographic ever, but does point to some interesting ways that the relationship between animation and editorial can expand beyond simple lists of reaction GIFs. Check it out for yourself, below, then let us know what you think in the comments.
