Gigya, the creators of social-sharing tools, will announce today that its Wildfire tool will be available for use on Facebook.

The Wildfire tool enables developers to build social applications for Facebook. This will allow Gigya to save content developers and widget providers time and resources. Users will be able to visitors to post videos, slide shows, music, games or widgets to their Facebook profiles without leaving the content provider's web site. Wildfire already works with at least ten other major social networks, including MySpace, Blogger, and Friendster.

This tool is of course great for those developers that don't have the resources or means to create their own Faceook application, but would like to leverage the large social network to gain new users, expand their online social networking presence, and provide additional sharing tools for their own services. The tool is customizable for developers, and also has an option for those that already have a Facebook application.
