The show, which premiered in June, will begin production on the new season.

Girl Meets World, which follows the adventures of Riley and her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), began its season to much fanfare, with nostalgic viewers excited to see returns from their favorite characters, and thus far, the show has not disappointed.

The premiere included a cameo from William Daniels, who plays Mr. Feeny, and the episode airing Aug. 15 will feature a return from Lee Norris as Cory's geeky classmate Minkus. Later this year, a holiday themed episode will bring back Rider Strong as Shawn and Cory's parents.

New episodes air Fridays on the Disney Channel.
