Hey, TV networks -- your report cards are in and some of them aren't so pretty.

GLAAD has released its ninth annual Network Responsibility Index, a report that measures the "quantity, quality and diversity of LGBT representation on television," it says.

The report measures the percentage of representation, examining shows that aired from June 1, 2014, to May 31, 2015, on five broadcast networks and 10 cable networks. It also measures the networks on a sliding scale with four categories: excellent, good, adequate and failing. So which networks came out on top?

ABC Family and Fox both received "excellent" marks. It was Fox's first time on the list, while ABC Family has earned an excellent grade twice before. Shows like The Fosters and Switched at Birth, full of LGBT representation, are examples of how the network has remained "excellent" for three years.

Pretty Little Liars also has strong LGBT representation, though there was a recent transphobic tweet that surprised and offended fans. But overall, about 74% of ABC Family's original programming "include LGBT impressions," the report states. About 79% of those were lesbian characters, 49% were people of color and there was also a transgender character played by a transgender actor.

Making the "good" grade were networks ABC, FX, HBO, MTV, Showtime and the CW.

ABC's grade was a somewhat bittersweet achievement. While it had the "highest volume of LGBT-inclusive content," with 32% of its original programming, only 17% of those LGBT impressions were made by people of color, the lowest of any broadcast network, the report states.

CW had the highest rate of racially diverse LGBT characters.

Falling into "adequate" territory were CBS, NBC, TLC, TNT and USA.

On top of this report, TLC is currently facing a scandal of its own, recently canceling 19 Kids and Counting after a molestation scandal.

The networks that received a "failing" grade were A&E and the History network. Considering A&E hosts Duck Dynasty, it was easy to see that grade coming.
