Glitter: A crafting staple turn millennial hair trend.
Rather than covering up, people are showing off their roots with the help of a glob of glitter pasted to their hair.
Frequently paired with space buns, this just might be your hairstyle for the upcoming Star Wars premiere.
You could also wear your hair down and dab a minimal amount of glitter on your roots for a simple, yet elegant New Year's Eve party look.
The technique combines hair gel and glitter to create a sparkly look that lasts all day.
But if you're dying to try this trend, you first need to know how to get the glitter out of your hair. According to hairstylist Matt Fugate, blotting your roots with a paper towel doused in hairspray will remove it.
