David S. Peck's email inbox is overflowing, and Google is to blame.

In a possible connection to the Gmail outage affecting millions of users on Friday, Peck, who is based in Fresno, Calif., is reportedly receiving thousands of emails due to a glitch in Google's search results.

By typing in "Gmail.com" into the Google search tool and selecting the "email" link (where it says 10+ GB of storage above), a blank email template pops up in Gmail. Peck's Hotmail address automatically populates within the "to" field.

As a result, the user -- according to TechCrunch -- has been receiving nearly 500 emails each hour, many with no subject lines or text.

Peck told the publication that the issue actually started on Thursday, and he contacted Hotmail earlier today to help correct the issue.

Neither Google nor Peck have yet responded to our request for comment.
