Four teens in Milton, Georgia were arrested for stealing a goat from a local man's backyard on Saturday, March 7.

Obviously, this grand theft goating was a crime of passion.

According to police, the teens stole the goat by cover of darkness from one of their ex-girlfriends' uncle's house. Their motive? To make a goat pun prom proposal.

WSB-TV reports that one teen told police that he took the goat in order to ask a girl to the prom with the extremely romantic line, "Will you goat with me to prom?"

The teens were pulled over by police who, upon discovery of the goat and a wallet found at the scene of the crime, were able to connect the four to the goat burglary.

No word yet on how the teen will ask his date to prom without a stolen goat, but we will update this story as we find out more.
