It's not easy being green.

In six decades, the radioactive behemoth known as Godzilla has rampaged through 28 Japanese films (and two American versions -- one best not to mention). He's evolved from a metaphor for nuclear weapons into a children's hero and back again, fighting robots and aliens along the way. This year, he'll return to theaters for a new, city-smashing adaptation.
