LOS ANGELES -- What if the asteroid had just sailed on past, and humans were allowed to evolve alongside the dinosaurs? Well, we'd have much cooler pets -- or maybe we would be the pets.

So Pixar would like us to imagine.

Here it is, the first trailer for The Good Dinosaur, Disney/Pixar's second outing after a more than two-year hiatus. The clip appears to give our first good look at the boy in the story; an earlier teaser trailer only saw him sailing past at a distance.

The dino is Arlo, Apatosaurus, a North American veg from the late Jurassic Period -- about 145 million years before the first humans. But hey, this is a cartoon. Just go with it -- because the movie looks like a fun and gorgeous ride.

Disney/Pixar's The Good Dinosaur comes out Nov. 25.
